Unable to sort or export shopping list

I have tried every way I could think of to sort the completed shopping list my department or to export it so that I could sort it myself to make the shopping quicker. Neither available.
Also editing shopping list cumbersome. I had to start over several times it wouldnt allow a "recipe delete" or multiple delete of individual items.
