Sooo helpful!!!

The low FODMAP Diet can feel overwhelming... but this app makes it much less so! Is it worth the price? Heck yes! I rarely buy apps, but this was a great purchase. I use it nearly every grocery store trip I go on, as well as frequently at home. This app is designed by people who are actually doing the testing on foods regarding FODMAP content... theres a lot of contradicting info out there but thats why its good to have this app, because its from the people actually doing the research, so you can always go here to get the actual, factual, accurate info. Im very much looking forward to the next update :-)

Indispensable resource

The concept of FODMAPs is new to me as of the last month; my doctor informed me of them and the elimination diet, and she strongly recommended I download this app. Im so glad I did! I wouldnt be able to do this diet without it.

Good app but should be more affordable

There are many ingredient and recipes which are not from US, the app should be more convenient for the country you are using for! The price is high in relation to the product. There are many ideas and suggestions we can find just looking in internet Instead of using this app! I recommend not pay for this app $8 us, is better just looking information for free in internet! Hopefully the developer considers this and change the price!

I depend on it

My son and I are glucose intolerant and this app helps a lot. I wish they would update the list more often and add more food (like papaya...). Also the search does not work. There is conflicting info in this app and the basic sheet I got from the dr. (Like broccoli and eggplant) which is confusing.

Love it

I love this app immensely! Please correct the spelling of plantain though - its spelled "plaintain" on the app. Many thanks!!!

Im not sure why this app was so expensive

I also wish there were more recipes. Overall I feel I could get this from a free app so I will update with a comparison.

Great App

Easy to use and customizable. No i can say bye, bye to IBS.

Great app but need offline access

Since last version the database is not available offline. With offline access to the guide, that app worths 5 stars.

Hope delivered by research

The structure of the app is perfect to add further content, especially new chapters. e.g. about the prebiotic benefit of some green FODMAPs and how this really is the case. The app informs about IBS which is already worth the money spent and asks you to find a diet specialist. So much about disclaimer. To find those specialists in the diverse health systems can be a challenge, especially with self-responsibility in mind. So the app is scientific enough to at least serve as a ticket to show up for entry when looking for further advice. Thanks for your work on this at Monash University. Keep on with shaping this ticket to relief.

Great and helpful

I just wish you would ad a German version. There is too less information about the FODMAP diet in Germany and almost nothing reliable.

Overpriced and incomplete

Although its user friendly and well organized it is overpriced. The database is incomplete and does not include many everyday food items. I was unable to find half the foods I looked up!

Love the app BUT!

I use this app on a daily basis. My Gastro in NJ told me to go on this diet after having trouble/pain in my stomach and gut. The FODMAP diet is an elimination diet and one food may not work for one person as it may be ok for another. For instance, I ate an orange the other day and had bouts of pain and gut issues. In the app "Orange, Navel" marked as fruit has a Green traffic light as you know means "ok to eat". To make the app more efficient it would be a tremendous help if the user could change the "traffic lights" to Red, Orange, or Green on their own terms as everyone is different. It would also be great if there was a way to see a list of the foods that did bother a persons gut at one point to revisit that food allergy again a few weeks later to be sure that it was 100% that particular food that caused symptoms. I hope you take my suggestions into consideration as it would help everyone with IBS further understand their needs in their diet and keep a better diary of their progress. Best Regards, Joanna

Not a bargain.

I hope that this app gets upgraded. Very basic information mostly applicable in Australia. Very small portions. Impossible to tell if larger portions are harmful. Only very basic foods are included.

Nice

Great source of information. Crashes too often though.

Best IBS app out there!

Makes grocery shopping so much easier! Well worth the money :)

Fodmap

Best app ever very helpful for people with food intolerans or ibs

They created FODMAP

Only makes sense to use this app to heal yourself.

Wonderful

I wish there were more items to search for. The variety is wide but there are still certain items that dont show up and I have to guess at them. New recipes would be good too

Grateful user

As someone new to the low FODMAP diet I dont go anywhere without this app. It has all the major foods on it so when I shop I can quickly check and see if something is safe. I also like being able to search through their info about the diet itself cause when you get reading about things it can bet confusing

An amazing app

This app gives lots of info about the Fodmaps in foods and why some of us have problems. Very helpful for grocery shopping and planning foods to eat. And helps with the "whys".
